Located just 20 minutes from Uptown Charlotte, Cornerstone Adventist Academy is close to numerous attractions, museums, and restaurants. The school is associated with the Cornerstone Seventh-day Adventist Church and receives strong support from its Board and constituents. For those who enjoy beauty and nature, Charlotte is just a short drive from both the mountains and the coast! Position: We are looking for a bright, creative, and motivated individual to fill an opening for a 1st-8th grade teaching principal. The candidate must be a dedicated and passionate teacher having a desire to lead their students into a love relationship with Jesus through the academic disciplines. Knowledge and skills in 4MAT and Standards-Based Learning is a plus.  Cornerstone is a growing school with potential for growth in its new, attractive, and spacious facility which currently holds 2 classrooms and a gymnasium, with room and plans for expansion.

Required Qualifications and Experience: 

A qualified applicant must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist who has teaching experience at the elementary level and holds current NAD certification or qualifies for Conditional Certification. The applicant must have the legal right to work and reside in the United States.
