Mission Statement
Cornerstone Adventist Academy exists to partner with families and the church to show children Jesus, nurture their love for Him, teach them to think, and empower them to serve.
ABOUT
A Small Adventist School . . .
Cornerstone Adventist Academy opened its doors for the first time on August 15, 2016 with a class of 20 students. Cornerstone is currently a one-room school serving grades 1-8.

Sonja Eberhart is the teacher. She brings a wealth of teaching experience and comes most recently from Adventist Christian Academy in Raleigh, North Carolina.
There are many advantages to the multi-grade classroom. Some research indicates that students in a multi-grade classroom have higher reading and math achievement, better work-study skills, and better self-concepts than their peers in single-grade classrooms. As the school grows, plans include adding a Kindergarten program and additional classrooms.
Cornerstone Adventist Academy is a ministry of the University City Seventh-day Adventist Church. The school is governed by a board selected by the church and operates under the supervision of the Carolina Conference Office of Education.
